Covid-19 Updates and Policies

First and foremost we hope everyone is safe and healthy during these challenging times. Here at LCS we are slowly building back our lesson program to ensure the safety of everyone. Our amazing staff continues to come to work day after day, care for our horses and continue to deep clean all common areas.
While we will continue to take all necessary precautions, and will continue following all guidelines set in place by the CDC, NY State and Ulster County, please know that your support and participation in these guidelines is very important. We appreciate all the support and assistance from our clients thus far, but it is important that we remain vigilant as we move towards indoor riding weather.
If you or a member of your household are not feeling well (even if you think it is not Covid related), please DO NOT come to the barn.
  •  EVERYONE is required to wash their hands prior to entering the barn and prior to leaving.
  • We have plenty of hand sanitizer available for frequent use, as well as gloves and masks if you do not have your own.
  • Everyone will be required to wear a face covering when working around the barn (not when riding due to safety concerns with breathing)
  • Physical distancing must remain in effect (at least 6 feet apart).
  • We also ask that no additional guests come to the barn with you and that if parents are staying to watch a lesson, to please stay in the car (if riding inside - we're sorry!) or watch from a distance (if riding outside).
  • If you have come into contact with someone who tested positive, you MUST quarantine for 14 days OR show proof of your own negative test results before returning to the barn
  • We have the right to perform daily temperature checks on anyone who wishes to enter the barn.
  • We ask that all riders keep their tack areas clean and organized in the tack rooms. Please clean your equipment frequently and wash saddle pads, boots and wraps often to ensure the utmost level of cleanliness.

*We know these are strict precautions but we want to ensure everyone's safety and hope to continue doing our part to help slow the spread. We had a great summer and look forward to vamping up again for the 2020-2021 show season! Thanks again for your support!
