Fundraising Events at LCS

Here at LCS we are grateful for our wonderful customers that make up or uniquely unified barn community. We also love being involved with our local community and enjoy finding ways to support those who need it most. Two of our annual fundraisers include our Ponies & Toys Toy Drive started in 2003 and our Valentine's Day Horse/Pony started in 2018.

PONIES & TOYS TOY DRIVE:

~Benefits the Family of New Paltz

~The entire community is welcome to attend...please spread the word!

~Held in mid-December in our indoor arena at our farm (event is rain/snow/sleet or shine)

~Special thank you to our dedicated customers who volunteer their time to help us put on this event

~We aim for 200+ toys each year and are usually successful!

~Since we started this fundraiser, we have donated over 3,000 toys to local families in need

~Bring a new, unwrapped toy and recieve a free pony or horse ride...open to ALL ages

2020:

During this especially challenging year where we had to cancel our physical event and switch to drop off only, our barn and local community came through, better than ever! We donated over 350 toys to Family of New Paltz! Thank you all so very much. We hope to be able to run our event as planned in December of 2021!

VALENTINE'S DAY HORSE/PONY:

~Benefits the Gardiner Fire Department (100% of proceeds go directly)

~Held in February each year, drawing of Valentine's Day horse/pony occurs on Valentine's Day

~Customers and/or friends of LCS can purchase a heart (small or big) in honor of their favorite horse(s) or pony which gives each horse/pony "points". The horse/pony with the most "points" is our yearly Valentine's Day Horse/Pony and is featured on our Facebook page & website (and they get some extra treats too)!

Thank you so very much to our generous customers. During our 2020 Valentine's Day campaign we raised $1,610 for the Gardiner Fire Department!
